Roberts Named Outlaw Winner, Flud Doubles Up with Cody, Moran and Mosley Mastering at Port City Raceway

TULSA, Okla. (Sept. 30, 2018) - Cole Roberts, Frank Flud, Ryan Cody, Rees Moran and Bryson Mosley each picked up feature event wins during PCR Weekly Championship Cup action at Port City Raceway.

A staggering 114 entries signed in for competition on a beautiful Fall evening in the outskirts of Tulsa.

After a disqualification in the POWRi Outlaw division, Cole Roberts was named the winner. The win was an emotional one as it was on the same night of his late mother’s birthday. Kaylee Bryson was credited with second. Third went to Brock Berreth. Fourth was Dalton Brown with Delaney Jost rounding out the top five.

Cannon McIntosh sixth. Seventh went to Kris Carroll. Garth Kasiner picked up the eighth spot. Steven Curbow ninth with Blake Battles in tenth.

Kevin Bayer, Darien Roberts and Blake Battles picked up heat race wins with Kasiner taking B-Feature honors.

It was all Frank Flud during the POWRi Non-Wing feature event. Matt Ward followed suit crossing in second after starting fifth. Third went to Curtis Jones. Caleb Pence finished in the fourth spot with Cannon McIntosh bringing up the top five.

Randy Wagnon, Jr. was sixth. Brian McClelland finished in seventh. Jace McIntosh eighth with Isaac Barr ninth and John Hull in tenth.

Flud, McClelland, Jace McIntosh and Ward were heat race victors. Barr claimed the B-Features.

Frank Flud doubled up by picking up the 20-lap POWRi A-Class feature event. Kaylee Bryson was the runner up. Zac Moody claimed the final podium spot. Jace McIntosh was fourth and Cole Roberts fifth.

Cannon McIntosh was sixth at the line. Seventh went to Caleb Pence. Spencer Mason was scored in eighth. Kayla Ward was ninth and Conner Lee brought up the top ten.

Kris Carroll, Moody and Brad Best picked up the nights three heat race wins.

Ryan Cody returned to victory lane in POWRi Sportsman competition. Bobby McIntosh was scored second. Troy Minton third. Jeremy Wickham was fourth with Dave Nicholson in fifth.

Larry Martinez was sixth. Darrius Myers finished in seventh. Kaimron Schoonover eighth with Jonathan Forsythe ninth with Todd Young in tenth.

Minton and McIntosh were heat race winners.

Rees Moran fought off a hard charging Shawn Mahaffey for the POWRi Restricted win. Mahaffey started in the eighteenth starting spot and finished second. Ryan Timms was third. Jase Mosley fourth and Dooley Harris fifth.

Glenn James Bratti was sixth. Brody McLaughlin seventh. Aidan Silva took the eighth spot with Thomas Byford ninth and Kaden Smith finished in the top ten.

Mosley and Kale Drake took heat race wins.

Bryson Mosley took the POWRi Junior Sprint victory. Brody McClelland finished in the runner up spot. Jase Blevins was third. Hayden Mabe in fourth and Hudsyn Truitt. Cale McGee sixth and Ayden Parrish rounded out the field.

McClelland won the lone heat race.

Port City Raceway returns to action on Saturday, October 3 with all six classes of Micro Sprints competing in the PCR Weekly Championship Cup.
